That's exactly why a tweet like this:
"The height of white privilege is being able to ignore his white supremacy, because it's of no threat to you. Well, it's a threat to me." is so tone deaf. If you asked her exactly how Trump is a threat to her she couldn't answer other than with some unsupported and unprovable abstraction.
I'm certain She'd have an easier time describing how Trump is a threat to her than you would have in describing how Muslims are a threat to you.
I don't think so. The core philosophy of Islam is that I must convert or die. If I'm lucky I can pay the jizyah, maybe. You can try and twist that supremacist philosophy any way you want and you can't make it untrue. Considering there are 1.6 billion people who follow this belief system, I'd say that's a real, actual threat. Whether I'll actually bump up against it during the next 35-45 years I have on the planet is questionable, but that hardly makes it less of a threat in the long run. I mean, you're concerned with a few thousand Klansmen scattered about the U.S., many of whom have never committed a crime and who you are unlikely to ever cross paths with, yet you'll somehow suggest that they are more of a threat than a gigantic supremacist religion that is growing by the day and has adherents blowing shit up every week.
Now, how do you think Donald Trump is a threat to a black woman who makes over a million dollars a year and has a platform to speak her mind whenever she wants to?
Currently he is attempting to roll back Affirmative Actions policies in Education. She has probably bypassed the portion that effects her but if Trump would have had his way she never would have benefitted from such policies in the first place.
The United States currently drops more bombs in Muslim countries than Muslims drop in ours. Continue on with the fallacious argument though. Also if you think that Klansman # merely in the few thousands then you don't have much of a clue. Incidentally white supremacy isn't merely confined to Klansmen. MANY groups fall carry the banner for this particular ideology.
It's also fallacious to suggest that 1.6 Billion Muslims are supporters of Radical Islam.
