So 83 games batting 2nd. That's a lot in my book.

I thought last time I looked at a comp of Bryant's stats everything was on pace to be identical to last year aside from RBI. There aren't many guys on base when he bats.

Last year he also went deep 39 times. This year he is on pace for 29. Still a good player (5.5 WAR) but not an MVP year at all.

He had schwarber batting in front of him the whole first half. Instead of guy on nobody out situations he more than likely had 2 outs and Baez or the pitcher on base. This is more about the awful leadoff hitter the first half than it is about Bryant.

Good points. And clearly they've missed Fowler all year. Some guys are just RBI machines, KB is more the all around very solid player. And in time I think he will become a solid RBI guy.
