Makes no sense because the Great Lakes area has the best tap water on the planet.

Rosa's pizza @ Penn station has the white pizza the exact way that Marisa's right by the L tracks between Clark and Belmont used to have it. And they don't rape you on beer prices, so you couldeasily do a slice and a beer for well under $10 before hitting up MSG or taking a cab/subway out into Manhattan/Brooklyn/etc.

Of course beyond thst I'm totally with you here.

Plus, the areas surrounding the Great Lakes have figured out a great way to enhance the quality of the water supply--particularly by dumping plenty of sewage into it. Drinking from a toilet is awesome!

NYC water is good, Imo it taste the same as Chicago but it's probably cleaner coming from the Catskills.

That's why we make all our pizza in Bedford Park.

That bullshit about the water might be one of the dumbest theories I've ever heard.

It is important to make your crust with only the finest Catskills-based wooter before slathering it in low-grade grease.

Maybe this should have been a Shoutout instead. Didn't realize it was a bunch of good dolphins and tall midgets getting ripped off.

This from the guy who once proclaimed that Memphis is a better city than Chicago!

I don't mind NYC pizza, but it's hardly at the top of the list of good food to be found there.

For the record, much of the East Coast is a festering craphole that should be immediately destroyed.

I don't know if you experience similar things, but when I lived on the East Coast, I missed everything about the Chicago area, including the pizza. Now that I live back in the Chicago area, I miss a lot of things about the East Coast, including the pizza. It's probably because my mom didn't love me enough.

I hate you and your good memory. I had a great weekend there but that was 10x worse than my Theo's Record post.

Chicago doesn't really even try to compete but when they do they are just as good. Try New York Bagel and Bialy in Lincolnwood
