Lindor is a player.

Lindor is the only player in the MLB where I say to myself 'I wish we had him'.

No interest in Mike Trout?

How did the Mets get this bad ? They won the pennant 2 years ago and had a staff of starters that you could see dominating for 4-5 years.

Right. They'll probably get Lindor.

That might make more sense if it were not for the fact that Almora had more AAA experience by far than Haap, yet Haap was given far more opportunities to play than Almora, despite Almora being the far superior defensive player. He has a bit less power that Happ does, but still has decent pop and strikes out less with a superior BA and OBP.

Sucks next 3 games are day games.

Have the Cubs ever had a night game on a Sat or Sunday? That schedule move w/ the Brewers last week was their first ever Friday night game.

Not sure why this still happens.

The Mets are beyond horrible. It starts with their owners giving Bernie Madoff all their money. But their GM bet on young controllable pitching and they all got hurt.

Terry Collins had better not be fired for this dumpster fire. Are there even two relievers on the Mets you'd take instead of Justin Grimm? (Robles is one. Familia will get himself suspended again any day now.)

They've been on Sunday Night baseball probably 200 times.

They had a lot of old players that are gone or hurt, the younger good ones like Conforto are hurt and they did not take care of their young starting pitching. Everyone one of them has blown up.

Happ has for more power, plays 2B as well as the OF and is a switch hitter and with Zobrist off to the shit start, Happ stepped in and provided a spark so Maddon just ran with it. Almora does deserve a bigger role in the future and that is their quandary given Happ is below avg at 2B and merely avg at best in CF but can clearly bash to the tune of 30+ per year.

A good problem to have.

Maybe he's saving him for the cards? Or at least put wilson in and let him try to find some groove.

Maples isn't ready for the Cards. He needs innings in a blowout like tonight. Oh well.

I feel confident vs the Cards now. Good comeback sweep after getting swept.

Gonna be tough. Cards are playing well but the Cubs generally play well vs STL so let's hope it continues.
