pizza_Place: It's gone
While I was working last night I was helping some tourists out and noticed the guy had a Patriots Super Bowl ring.

I asked him if he worked for the Pats since he had a SB ring. He said no, it's just a replica. I said he could have fooled me because it looked like the real thing.

So I looked up on the internets Cubs World Series rings. A lot of links came up on ebay and most were out of China and some here in the US.

The rings are replicas but they look just like the real thing.

Best thing is they only sell for like $20-$30. I even saw some as low as around $10.

Sure it doesn't have any of the diamonds and gold but it looks just like the real thing.

Im thinking of maybe buying one to keep as memorabilia.

If they can give guys like Bartman a ring, why can't we fans get our own too right?

Here's one of them, looks like real :

Yeah,I bought the one you have pictured. It looks very nice.
I ordered a 2nd one with the walking Cub on it,not so nice.

It's kind of hard to make out the bear.

ok great. verified purchaser here.

then i'll take the plunge. I see many of the makers are out of china but there are some out of Illinois. I'll take my chances with the Illinois companies.

Chances are the ones in IL are buying the China rings and selling to you making a couple bucks in the interim.

The really good replicas are in the 1-200 dollar range. Friends has some serious ones from the Hawks titles that he using in his autographed items to add value.
