The Bears suck. I'm not arguing that they are good. I just think some of you don't realize how bad the Jets, Colts, Browns, 49ers, Bengals, Cardinals, etc are

I agree with you. I watched some of the Cardinals today. They have fallen off a cliff. There are a several really bad teams this year. The Bears could be really bad and still end up with the 5th or 6th pick

Well, the Bears play the Browns, Bengals, and 49ers, so that should boost their record, but the front half of the season (looking at 2-6 at best) could wipe them out so bad that they pull up the stakes early and lose one or two of those anyway. Like I said in the other thread, 0-8 at the bye is very much in play.

Well there you have it. If they go 2-1 or better vs those three, no top 3 pick. 1-2 or 0-3 and you're cooking with gas

If the Bears lose to the Browns and/or 49ers in late-autumn Chicago I never want to hear another word about our Football Town.

The Jets and Browns are bad. The 49ers & Cardinals are probably close to the same as the Bears. Maybe slightly better or slightly worse, but close.

The Colts and Bengals are also bad but Andy Dalton & Andrew Luck are both miles better than Glennon, so that alone could get them more wins than the Bears may get. I said 6-10, maybe 7-9 for the Bears before the season started. Now its looking like 4-12 or 5-11 are real possibilities. A run at a top 3 pick is not out of the question. Barring some craziness and/or the Bears opponents being terribly injury riddled, the Bears are probably going to pick somewhere between 4-7 in next year's draft.

Another 3 win season and a top 3 pick.

Remember, the Cardinals lost their bell cow RB.

I think they are a QB away from being a playoff level team again. Palmer is done. He was done last year. He was appearing to be done two years ago. They should have recognized this and had a succession plan.

Browns v. Bears on Christmas Eve would be a glorious exercise of people watching.

If you have pick top 3 in this draft and already have your QB you are no doubt trading down. Looks like a near-lock that QB's go 1-2-3 in 2018. So, depending on who comes calling the Bears could be picking anywhere from top 10 to middle/late-teens.

Lamar Jackson sure would be interesting though.

The Cards have a better coach and QB and defense than the Bears, the would thump us..same goes for the Bills. Cleveland is the worst team in the league and the Niners are equal to us. The Jets could be slightly worse than us but with the injuries I think they'd beat us .

We pretty much have to redraft at every position we drafted in 2015(outside of Goldman)

1st Kevin White WR West Virginia Pick - Conference - Grades
2nd Eddie Goldman DL Florida State Pick - Conference Call
3rd Hroniss Grasu OL Oregon Pick - Conference Call
4th Jeremy Langford RB Michigan State Pick - Conference Call
5th Adrian Amos S Penn State Pick - Conference Call
6th Tayo Fabuluje OT TCU Pick - Conference Call

Is the arrow really pointing up for this team? I'm getting concerned.

It's pretty ridiculous that we are trotting out the likes of Bellamy and Thompson at wide receiver. That's what you should be doing in the middle rounds of the draft, finding speed guys at WR with upside for the NFL

This is the primary reason I don't want (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky playing. There isn't an NFL WR on the roster. They don't get open and when they do they can't catch.

This just isn't entirely true. The NFL rules these days are so soft, even a replacement player, can get open. And our TE's are supposed to be a strength? On the pick to Alexander Glennon had a TE wide open in the flat. He can't make the progressions!

You have to remember in doing your evaluations of "the worst" that the Bears have played two playoff teams (one of them being elite) and will play another two more in a row. This would have been a rough beginning for any team. It is especially rough for a team so devoid of offensive talent.

The "Stockholm Syndrome" you developed following the White Sox is now carrying over to the Bears.

On the other pick, the pick 6, it looks like there is some underneath stuff brewing with our TE's, or if Mitch was the QB, there is a ton of real estate for a mobile QB to get a chunk of yardage.

The WR's suck, but that's still no excuse to stick with this fucking clown Glennon. Mitch's time is NOW!

Nope. Let Glennon take the lumps during the tough first half and install (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky during the bye week. Maybe you let him start the week earlier against the Saints

Derrick Carr had the same shitshow of talent his rookie year and now look at him. No reason to sit Mitch.

I miss SomeGuy, but Caller Bob has helped mitigate the loss.

This guy likes them taking Kevin White 2.0, except 3 inches shorter and 2 steps slower. At 1.

Fucksakes lol

How many Mully's is Pace gonna get on his drafts? You can almost throw that entire 1st draft out the window with a good chunk of his 2nd one too.

I want Gruden to coach next year and I'm all in on Mitch. An OL or WR should be selected with the 1st round pick.

Bruce's plan since the beginning of last season has been to start Lamar Jackson at QB in 2018.
