Late 70s Cubs teams started the bad baseball watching. Harry/Jimmy with the Sox and watched a lot of bad Braves baseball.

All local.

When I was young I was mostly a Bears fan and there were many. I would say everyone loved Payton obviously but I really ejoyed Hampton.

My baseball guys were more of a mix but I would have to pick Fisk.

Hockey was the Savard, Secord, Larmer line.

Basketball was the A Train.

Boxing was Ali when I was small but Sugar Ray Leonard in my teens.

Lastly, there was a funny story of my fandom as a football player in 7th and 8th grade. My number was 62 and therefore I became a fan of a unknown backup Bears O Lineman. The one and only Dan Jiggetts.
