I love Baez.

I still think Russell might be better at SS. Edmonds factor with Javy. Russell gets to a ball better and makes routine play, Javy gets a bad read and dives. Javy gets the highlights.

It's a great problem to have

HG, Byron Buxton is now on that list with Keirmeier and Pillar

1 hitter by the pitcher staff.

Maybe the Pirates can figure out how to score sometime this week.

Same metrics that say Trout is slightly above average say Russ is better than Javy

Bryant got a break tonight and we still won. Hope it helps tomorrow night if Joe plays him.

Read the other thread. I explained this.

If you had to do someone else's job for a week, would you be as good as they were versus if you were able to do it for a long stretch?

You only get to use Schwarber as DH for so many games. Why waste the opportunity today?

Great sitting of Bryant yesterday. Won the game and got your best player a full 48 hours of rest for the home stretch.

The entire reason he has looked better in the second half is because he has very few PA against LHP. He hasn't figured anything out...he simply always has the platoon advantage. And he still strikes out or pops up constantly.

Many are overlooking this.

.436 OPS in games started by a lefty.

He'll be riding the pine quite a bit if they end up meeting the Dodgers.
