Who knows. Brandon Marshall? Talent-wise Jeff Graham was probably the most complete for the short time he was here. I think Bobby Engram was the best slot receiver.

Johnny Morris is really the only answer, right?

Nobody trots Johnny out for an interview any more. It's like he never played for them.

At 81, his brain must really be scrambled.

Johnny Morris should go into the HOF for telling Ditka to "fuck off" and basically making him his bitch on the air

Christ, even Morris only had one real good season.

Conway is absolutely in the discussion.

Marty Booker, too.

I'll go with Marcus Robinson and James Scott.

Wendell Davis and Bobby Engram at Flanker.

Marcus Robinson and Marty Booker were my personal favorites.

That was the first time I really regretted my parents didn't have the old satellite dish that kept the video stream going during commercials.

On a different note, has anyone seen how old Ditka looks in his latest car care commercial? Completely gray with a full beard. Gaunt even. He made me immediately go shave my beard off.

Yeah, he isn't looking good.

James Scott, Rickey Watts, Brian Baschnagel, Golden Richards and/or Steve Schubert at times. One helluva receiving corps. All one skill short.

Or cokeheads.

Check out Scott's YPC average while on the Bear and get back to me.

Catching a whopping 2-3 passes on longer post patterns against teams lining up 8 in the box to stop the greatest running back of all time wasn't enough imo.

I think it's probably Curtis Conway. Which is sort of like if it was true that Joe Crede was the best White Sox 3B ever.

Better question is, who was the worst? The metrics say that it was Olin Kreutz.

Looks like a bust. Can't be out Daniel Brown on the depth chart.

The draft pick made no sense. You had Miller and signed Sims. Unless Shaheen is a can't miss monster, there were so many other needs. I figured they drafted two projects in rounds 1 and 2 so they could lose badly this year and get more high picks.

Best case scenario... he figures it out next year or in 2019..then you have only a couple of more controllable/cheap years on this asset. So you have of value there lost as well...as a $$$ guy I'm sure you know what I mean...

The Bears are fine cap wise, so that isn't a big concern. I am ok if they have to pay up for Pro Bowl caliber draft picks. That would be a good problem to have.

No he would have kept Cutler if that was the case.

I think James Maness would want to take a few snaps in that scenario.

He is the fifth TE drafted in 2017 with the only one lighting the world on fire being Engram. Engram, however, isn't being asked to perform the tasks of a traditional TE and is really only a receiver.

OJ Howard was picked 19th, is behind Cameron Brate on the depth chart and has had one good game.

Give this some time. He has already advanced nicely as a blocker and I would hope Miller's absence will result in more catches.

Mitch doesn't have time. Mitch needs to develop ASAP. Bad pick.

The only person who can stop Adam Shaheen is Dowell Loggains.

Coming into his own as a receiver, and has improved exponentially as a blocker.
