But now, it took me about two weeks to give up on Bernstein and Goff. There are many things I can't stand about Goff - the politics, the race-baiting, the constant laughter, his boring personal stories, his awful phrases (I'm with yah). But for me, what makes him unlistenable is his constant need to hear his own voice and not shut the fuck up. He constantly interrupts people and dominates conversations with guests and his own co-host. All the former things I listed above are just personal preference, but the last issue just shows how bad he is at radio. I understand the point of radio is to talk, but brevity is the soul of wit. Make your point and shut up.

Also, I've been a long time lurker of this site, but I finally decided to create a profile and post a bit. Great site!

I hate when people constantly complain and don't just turn it off.

Agreed! I spent a couple months getting angry at that terrible show until I broke free. S&P and a hodgepodge of podcasts has filled the void left from B&B.

Goff is youth taking over. That’s the Twitter Generation.

It’s awesome. Everybody else is like listening g to my Grandfather.

I only wish they’d ditch Dan B and go Parking/Goff.

He's 37 and he's been at this station for like 15 years.

Why ruin Parkins stint in Chicago so quickly? Since sending him back to Atlanta is not an option, I say put Goff back with Spiegel and go with a Parkins/Bernstein show. Parkins' bits could help liven up Berstein.

That's probably it right there.

Your takes have become very pedestrian. What happened to The Panther of old?

Goff is anything but youth.

The youth taking over sports talk would be the fellas at Barstool, particularly Pardon my Take.

I agree. Though, unless ratings tank, I'm sure Mitch would be too scared to move Goff to mid-day. But if really wants 670 to survive into the future, they need much more Parkins and a lot less Goff.

I'm usually amused but not persuaded by your Jason Goff analysis.

Yesterday on the show he accused LBJ of being one of those "all lives matter" guys. Dan shot him down by telling him "I think LBJ was on the other side of that".

I have listened to transition the last 2 days and both times Goff brought up Kapernick. Yesterday, he talked how Kapernick makes people have uncomfortable conversations with their kids because they are finding out they might be a little hood.

I'm almost at the point where I swear off transition too.

I wouldn't worry. There will be a lot of other people that don't listen who will be fair and tell you and everyone else when the show is really good again.

they'd be fighting in a week. They'd kill each other eventually.

I like it.
