For any occasion besides when we eat and it's just us and the kids. If we have people over for a game we have to have 3 side dishes and 3 appetizers and a main course meal and dessert. Then I cooked the other day and smoked 8 pounds of pork for burnt ends and she was harrasing me asking why I was cooking so much food.

We grill quite often.

When I put the meat on my wife always procrastinates before setting the table and getting all the other dishes ready. Then, when I am putting cheese on burgers or some other finishing touch, she is rushing around getting everything ready. She often complains by saying how she is rushing since she knows I'll get angry if everything is not ready.

Her car is an absolute mess. I have started cleaning it just because it bothers me too much.

She doesn't put food away while cooking. So when we finish eating we not only have to clean the table but the counters as well.

She lets the dryer run and run and run.

She doesn't like talking about her finances. She doesn't really listen when I talk about our major finances.

She complains about what my whack-job sister posts on FB. I unfollowed her years ago. My sister went on quite a rant about the Cowboys and Dale Jr yesterday. I only know because my wife had to read me the post.

yeah, I'm a neat freak, and pretty particular. My sig does not do any housework anymore, at one time she was a really clean person.

Towels on the floor behind the bed, yes. It slays me.

Dishes left in the sink, but this is what kills me. I keep saying, if it's got food on it, leave it on the side of the sink where the disposal is. This is not paid attention to one bit. I'd say put it in the dishwasher, but then I end up reorganizing the whole thing because there's six dishes and not a space left to put anything because loading a dishwasher is a Tetris like skill, apparently.

Her car is a disaster zone. I have to clean it out weekly or there literally won't be places to put the kids.

My family is largely together and gets along. Her family hate each other and have moved away from each other. My family routinely covers babysitting, and are only around if requested. Her family gives us stuff, but largely toys and candy for the kids, things we not only don't need more of, we are actively trying to get rid of. New toy? Great, we'll throw the one away you gave us two months ago. But guess whose family is a constant source of her frustration?

She didn't do laundry for a long time, but now she does just infrequently enough to make me mad, and NOTHING ever gets put away. Baskets and baskets of clothing just lounging all over the house. Is it clean? I don't know!

When she's home with the kids, she has no time to do the housework because the "kids keep her too busy". However, when I am home, the one day I'm actually home a week, I can have the house put back in order, cleaned and vaccumed in an hour and a half. With all three kids, by myself.

Clothes never make it to the hamper. I switched sides in bed so her side was up against the wall, because it looked like a salvation army.

I make food, I clean up after myself. She makes food, nope.

I get home from work, and immediately start trying to clean the house. Does this make her happy? NO. Why don't you pay attention to me first? Well, I don't know, if this place gets any dirtier we're going to get evicted?

Housekeeping issues seem universal here. My wife has this idea that the cap/measuring device of any liquid laundry product is unnecessary, and IF it were used, each use causes a "grotesque, sticky mess". So, most loads are over loaded with soap and softener, both no-nos with today's HE washers. IF the cap is used, it must be tossed into the washer to be cleansed, not simply rinsed out in the filling washer stream or in the laundry sink directly adjacent to the washer. Said cap/s is/are then subjected to the forces of cleansing in the washer load, which usually results in a loss of cup integrity after two loads. NOW you have a cap that has a hole in the bottom, which then "creates a grotesque, sticky mess". AND, you get to hear that plastic cap dragging across all the little holes in the inner basket during the wash cycle, and, usually, get to hear it pound through the dryer as well, since it is too hard to find inside the load to remove prior to drying.

Next week, a study of how to burn every single frozen pizza because there is no reason to set the timer on the oven.

Think my biggest complaint is the not enough time bullshit that I hear. Why didn't you shower before I got home, I want to lay down in our bedroom and the bathroom is connected..not enough time. Cool it took you you 7 hours to feed the kids breakfast and lunch and go to Target.
