Jim Frey was pretty great.

Zimmer was good but he was more like Dusty Baker where he managed more from his gut than stats/matchups. I liked Dusty too btw.

But got to give it to Joe. He was wonderful managing this last week in these big series and of course he got us the ring.

I guess many people don't buy into his hippie routine but it seems to work.

Joe it is for me!

Zim was my favorite. Or maybe it was Jim Essian. Nah, it was Zimmer.

Stick Michael was supposed to be some sort of baseball genius. They all seem about the same to me, other than a total buffoon like Riggleman.

Joe Maddon, best Cub's manager in my lifetime and probably best manager in the modern era.

He comes off as a buffoon in The Bronx Zoo.

Has to be Maddon there is no debate.

If another manager won the World Series for this team let me know.

No Bruce Kim love.. I'm shocked.

Gene Micheal.. I still remember how excited my Parents were telling me that the cubs hired him. I think it was a couple weeks later my mom was calling him an idiot.

There is no discernible difference. This is one area where JORR is - surprisingly - correct.

Jim Lefebvre did a pretty good job with the Cub. Exactly .500 for two seasons, not awful for a Cubs manager.

The players won the WS. IF the Cubs win this year (5th best team in the playoffs) I will elevate Joe.
