I totally am for the right everybody to own a rifle for sport...and handgun I guess, if it makes you feel safe at night. But the biggest gun nut I know is this skinny little burrito in my neighborhood. You just know he got the shit beat out of him as a kid. To these people....AR-15's are an extension of their tiny dick, manhood, etc...it's their chance to feel "BIG" for once. It's really hard to respect these people that are trying to make up for whatever they lack in life.

We live in a country where we trade some "security" for freedom. May sound cruel, but it's true. We can't just ignore the Bill of Rights.

Exactly. If we got rid of all amendments that have negative consequences then many of them go away.

As mentioned above, and it was put perfectly, when 20 kids were killed at Sandy Hook, that was the watershed moment. That's when all the shitstompters in this country said, well dead kids suck, but my right to own a machine gun is MORE important. THAT was the moment in the country...nothing more will surprise me.

Right. The debate is over, it's a another issue the left just needs to admit defeat on and move on. It's a losing debate.

CAIRO (AP) — Islamic State claims Las Vegas attack, says shooter converted to Islam months ago, but provides no evidence.

The only bright side to this, is there is a solid chance that many of those same gun toting dipshits were among the victims yesterday.

I like to shoot three gun competition. Shotgun, pistol and AR. So does that make me a tiny dicked asshole?

Bob why do you get so fucking worked up over AR15s? We don't even know what caliber this guy used.

People can use shot guns and rifles to kill many people too.

AR15s are not the fucking boogey man. I like having a 5.56 rifle bc its not expensive to shoot but I can still plunk steel at 300 yards. I prefer it to getting behind a 300 win mag and my shoulder being numb the next day.

There are MANY varieties of firearm. They are ALL 100% lethal and efficient at killing. There cant be "good" and "bad" firearms.

Cmon Bob. Let's go argue about (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky or the Cubs or something. It beats wishing people were murdered for exercising their rights.

a-fucking-men

I will deal with hate speech and the ills that come with it as maintaining it means freedom of speech.

I will deal with us not being able to prevent violent crime and attacks that could be prevented by Big Brother surveillance systems because I believe in my right to privacy.

I will deal with these mass shootings as I believe in the right to bear arms as such a right is a firewall against tyranny.

I will never give up my liberties for some false semblance of security.

Probably some hand guns being carried but given he was 32 floors up with something high powered, they couldn't effectively suppress the guy.

Do you really want beat cops popping off AR-15 rounds at an occupied hotel skyrise?
