Fuck yeah. Start the change.org leash. I'll call my reps. Dogs are the best, and its past time we recognize they have rights over lesser beasts.

Frankly I think that most dog owners are the real problem. And I don't particularly care for dogs.

There is really no sane argument out there for those type of weapons to be legal..I mean the only people in support of it just come off as degenerate assholes. Not one use..sport..defense, etc..for something like that.

Ah yes, the "practical use exception" to constitutional rights. I think I read about that somewhere.

You can have both...as long as they are demilitarized and you have the proper paperwork.

Full auto weapons are not legal.

You can easily convert legally purchased semi auto AR's and pistols like the Tec9 to fully auto.

I think it is shocking that someone who was willing to kill and hurt many people was willing to do something illegal to attain the needed firepower to do it.

And that would be illegal and makes the firearm illegal.
Thus he had illegal guns.
Full auto weapons are not legal.

Which brings us to the point that banning these weapons does nothing to take them out of the hands of people who want to do illegal things.

Banning the importation/sale of certain types of guns or clips isn't a perfect solution won't completely work, but it's vastly superior to what we have now. And I don't share in the bloodlust many have for hunting. Sorry.

I just ultimately don't get the fixation/fascination over guns shared by many here. Or agree with the rationalizations being employed

All handguns, assault-style rifles, etc. being completely illegal to own and manufacture outside of military contracts mean way less guns in the wild.

Gun manufacturers are going out of business as it is. My company liquidated several of them. Do you think there will be 200,000 sq. ft. shops all over the country just illegally manufacturing guns?

Any gun that has any ability to be customized to become fully automatic has no place being in the hands of anyone but the military.

There is this little thing called the Bill of Rights, I suggest reading it some time.

Also, what's an "assault-style rifle"

Also, have fun trying a ban when $1500 is all you need to set up a shop to produce as many AR-15s as you want.

That's not much more than the price of a single AR-15 in a gun shop.

Frankly, neither do I, but it's necessary just as two weeks ago after three Cat 4/5 hurricanes hit when MANY said it was equally inappropriate to talk about climate change then and similarly used empty rhetoric to defend their positions.

Modern carbines, bullpups, etc.

I work in the manufacturing industry. Your $1500 lie won't fly. But nice try guy.

Just over $1500 gets you this. https://ghostgunner.net

Tell me again what I don't know about guns.

Not to mention 3D printing, which costs less now.

Also, the AR-15s sold today are not assault rifles. They are simply long guns that have aesthetic appearances that mimic military rifles. If you have fired an M-16 or M-4 and then fired an AR-15, you would know the difference.

I'm thankful for liberty minded folks like Cody Wilson. They have already nullified your gun control plans.

With AR-15's it's kind of a "culture" thing in these gun shops. You buy them legally...semi-automatic..and then there is the "wink wink" I know a guy that can help you hack this into fully auto. I'm pretty sure you can't automate a 9MM or a basic deer rifle into a fully auto. Hence the argument for legislation on those.

It's either that or like I said earlier, places like big time hotels, you are going to have to pass your luggage through an screening system.

My guess is the later will start to happen...anything in terms of large mass of people in one spot.

There is this little thing called the Bill of Rights, I suggest reading it some time. Be sure to focus on the part to ensure the ability to provide for a "well regulated militia" in an era where we didn't really have a large standing army

Also, what's an "assault-style rifle" OK, change it to semi automatic, fair enough?

Also, have fun trying a ban when $1500 is all you need to set up a shop to produce as many AR-15s as you want. That something ONLY is made more difficult and rarer really isn't a good counter point imo
That's not much more than the price of a single AR-15 in a gun shop.

And we aren't that far off in other places in this discussion
