This is the game I had them losing. Quintana has to give up 0 runs for the Cubs to have a shot. I see Scherzer going 8 innings and giving up 1 run.

I agree with Nas but I've been doubting the Cubs all year to no avail. I didn't think they would win the division.

Game 2 was huge. No way Washington comes back from that.

And no one is really sure on his injury. Doubtful he is 100%

Pitch count, too. He pitched game 5 very well. Held LA scoreless thru 6 (99 pitches). Dodgers immediately got 4 runs off the bullpen.

Their bullpen is gettable this year too. That's why Zobrist first pitch swinging on Strasburg was so ridiculous.


Gotta get that pitch count up. Wind probably blowing out tonight, too. Not sure that favors either side, though.

Cubs aren't winning this game. Even if they somehow get to Scherzer, Quintana is horrible and will get shelled.

Yea, hate to say it but that comeback had to really loosen them up. And also give them the "we're never out of it" feeling.

The series is probably over. Quintana vs Scherzer is a big mismatch and you're probably not beating Strasburg again.

This is a Nats lineup that is built for Quintana to control. Tons of outs after Murphy.

Cubs are not losing this game. Harper walked into a hanging curve ball and Zimmerman hit it in just the right spot to clear the fence.

Turner has zero confidence and Murphy has been shit this series. Unless they get it going, Washington will not luck out again.

Looks like this game tonight defines who won the "W/L" argument for at least a year.
