The Nationals scare me but the Dodgers don't. Kershaw will might give up 6 runs in Game 1.

Great run, though. It was fun.

I mean, it's baseball so anything can happen, but yea Dodgers are all set up.

It would take a very bad performance by the Dodgers and a bunch of great ones by different Cubs.

Is the starters maintain an ERA under 1 thru the first 4 games like they did in the NLDS....maybe.

It's mostly luck.

You make your own "luck" except for Baez AB's. WTF is he swinging at? That swinging strike above his head was the final straw for me. Bench him and start Happ at 2B.

Cubs don't stand a chance if the relievers don't start throwing strikes. Strop looked like the best reliever outside of Davis. Need to see what Wilson has game 1 with Lackey starting.

LA in 6

If Lester and Q are on and can limit Bellinger and Seager, they have a shot.

Yeah, if Nas could stop making predictions, that'd be great.

Can you please stop saying dumb stuff like this unless you're actually going to attempt to refute it? Thanks.

Refute what exactly?

Doyers in 5.

No Dusty this round to out-dumbshit Maddon.

Theo and Jed need to get Merlot Joe out of the dugout ASAP.

Maddon had his best game of the playoffs last night. Whatever he is doing, is working.

No he didn't. The Nationals just did all they could to lose.

Totally. Maddon's genius caused the Nats to have a guy thrown out at home, allow a passed ball & throwing error combo, dropped liner, 1st pitch double-play, and guy get picked at 1st. And still only won by 1.

3 years ago, that 5th inning happens to us not for us. The game has changed.

Assuming he's on the roster, Justin Wilson needs to be used in Game 1 just to see if he's got anything.

i said it in the nationals thread; the dodgers are probably excited as hell about whomever they got this series. now that it's the cubs, they really are seeing green.

i don't know whether i like having this day off or not...on the one hand, they need some rest after what they put themselves through. but then again...it feels like a bender, and you don't sleep that off until it's officially over.

Get that weak shit outta here.

Well, if the Cubs remember how to get actual hits, you don't need a bullpen and we're all good.

Cubs in 3.

Dodgers have to feel a little trepidation knowing the team that knocked them out last year is coming to dinner.
