  Yeah the 3 time WS winning GM "panicked" over a couple bad starts .

It's more damning if he did it while thinking clearly.

what the hell is going on here? Quintana pitched well for the Cubs. As well as you could reasonably expect.

Cease is already hurt again.

I’m digging the experience.

He pitched better than the other guy.

It's been a great experience all season long. Hope it lasts a few more weeks.

Despite what some misguided might think, he is the best pitcher on the team. He would be the first pitcher taken should you throw them all together in a draft for the rest of MLB.

Probably Q. Maybe Hendricks.

But if you have to win one big game right now, he is behind Lester and Jake too.

I love Quintana but I disagree. He could be their 4th best pitcher.

It's OK to disagree and be incorrect. I wouldn't even mock you for it.

No one is taking Jake first. Half his season was 5 inning, 100 pitch performances and Lester is right at the precipice.

To win 1 game assuming full rest, Id go with Jake.

He had full rest x2 in an elimination game and walked the world.

I may be letting his big performances for the Cub in the World Series cloud my vision a bit. I trust him. I dont know Quintana well enough yet. I've heard some bad things from some guys.

I'd go Kyle. How can anybody not?

He didn't have it last night and still kept it together.

Lester is in the conversation but I'll go with the younger guy.

Already mentioned Hendricks. That was a Jake vs Q response.

I’d consider it.

But he’s untested, unlike Kyle, he’s never been on a team this good before.

Q's problem is keeping the ball in the park with the juiced ball. Dodgers will give him suenos malos.

At least he was better than Chris Sale. Cubs got the right White Sox pitcher, even if it wasn't the best pitcher to get at the deadline.
