It's the right call, but it's dumb. Instead of cheering plays we're left to cheer decisions from New York.

Playoff baseball tends to be emotional. You'll find out someday.

Yep. This country is going down the toilet. Unless you are an NBA superstar pulling down 40M+ per annum.

Remember like 2-3 years ago there was a NFL game cancelled in philly because it was -20 degrees and snow. Eagles owner said something like 30 years ago we would still play, but we're all a pussy country now. He also said how if this was China the game would not be called.

He described it right.

Just a matter of time before that rule is changed. The old timers will mandate it.

I'm fine with the blocking the home plate rule. To me, it's always been dumb that you can block the plate in shin and chest gear. Ever since it's been implimented I've never seen it called though. I've seen WAY worse blocking against the Cubs never called but that is? It's a joke. Simple as that.

Don't remember that but kudos to Eagles owner. Play the damn game.

REmember Mike Scoscia back in the day. He would block the plate every fucking time even though it was against the rules and the umps wouldn't call it. He basically would dare the runner to knock his ass over when they got to home plate and if they didn't tough. That's how it should be.

I see they made Hernandez name Enrique now instead of the Kik.e that had been up there for the last 14 months.

Least this isn't a so called "heart breaking" loss. Come back tomorrow and win and regain control of the series. Fuck these LA pussies.

Looking at the replay, if he slides feet first he’s safe.

Ray Fosse tried to block the plate and Pete Rose demolished him

we all are. we're much softer people than our dad's generation was. i remember crying during the scene in Toy Story 44 or whatever the fuck it was when the kid leaves for college. I noticed I was crying and said to myself I've become a pussy and how if this was 1978 no man would be crying for a fucking cartoon scene.

If he slides in the direction of the plate. After the bunt gaffe I am not convinced he would have angled his feet toward the plate.

Bringing Jansen in now is overkill. It won't matter one way or another, but it is overkill.

He had 2 easy chances to get to 3rd base instead of trying to score from 2nd
