The Cubs had 10 sets of 3-game winning streaks at home this season.

Nope. They'll win the next two and then lose the two after that.

They might win. Baseball.

If it gets back to LA, HUGE PRESSURE on Dodgers.

Just need to take 2 out of 3 at Wrigley (obvs)

Honestly, I think they need to win all 3.

I mean that would be preferable, but going home "only" needing to win 1 of 2 can sometimes lend itself to pressing.

If they make it back to L.A. Cubs will have a decent chance either way.

With the exception of the 83 win Cardinals, I believe they all occurred vs. sub-.500 teams.

Right now you can get Cubs +1300 to win it all.

So far, "the best team in baseball" Indians lost a World Series to the Chicago National League Ball Club, LLC in 2016 and then got beat in the first round by one of the AL Wild Card teams in 2017.

Sounds like the AL is just a bunch of average teams, outside of the Astros, a former National League team with their two best players coming from their NL days.

And this Astros team is legit too..not the 89 win 2005 Astros that fluked their way into a World Series appearance.

Who were immediately destroyed by the FAR SUPERIOR White Sox. With all of these NLCS appearances, you'd think the Cubs would have been able to sweep a team here and there.

You did what you had to do. You destroyed a marginal baseball team to win a world series. Even though it took 7 games, I feel very proud my Cubs took down a tough 94 win team Indian squad.

Even though it took 7 games, even thought their starting pitchers were hurt, even though they were missing Michael Brantley, even though they dropped an easy fly ball in Game 6, you should be proud that the Cubs were gifted a World Series title.

The 2016 Indians were without Charles Nagy and Albert Belle too!

Yea, Cardinals would have given the White Sox a better series. Maybe even beat them. But that's baseball.

Not taking anything away. The Cubs had some luck and beat a depleted team.

You can make a case for the 2005 Astros being the worst team to ever make it to a world series. Not a single position player with an OPS over .800. Also a huge * for the rotation being propped up by a roided out Clemens and Pettit. Very bad.

The same things can be found for every team that has ever won a championship.
