How'd the Sox do in the 2006 ALCS?

ignoring the snark, this is a legit question. Did the amount of work on the arms in 2005 affect 2006? Bullpens are good and useful.

The bullpen is what killed them. Cotts sucked and Politte and Hermanson's careers were over. That and no Rowand and too much Vazquez.

but how did the starters do over the next season?

Fine for the first half from what I remember. Then they crashed in the second half. Contreras especially. And the bum Javy Vazquez.

Yeah. Lucky Kenny Williams traded Esteban Loaiza for Jose Contreras and Miguel Olivia for Freddy Garcia.

I was just trolling Brick. I'm glad the Sox and Cubs both won a World Series in my lifetime.

Actually, a pretty terrible one for the unbiased observer. Sox too dominant.

The CG game thing is insane. Should get more play than it does.
