i think that's one of the problems. you put so much pressure on the offense to keep scoring and score a lot since there is no confidence in the bullpen.

as much as i've wanted the starting pitching to go deeper, if the offense could put up 4-5 or more runs by the 4th or 5th inning, maybe the bullpen could coast a little.
