Q needs to pitch 7 innings then give the ball to Davis. That's the only way this team wins these playoffs.

I know that is what Joe says now, but I am not sure I buy it completely.

One run game in the 9th inning, I would not be surprised at all to see Davis.

As you prepare to go to bed with visions of Ws dancing in your heads, take a moment or two to imagine what Lou Pinella would've done after a shitshow call like that, then enjoy the inevitable giggle.

I’d say if you’re up 12, you run LaStella out there to burn up an inning or two.

Under 11, Rondon.

Yep.

I've been waiting for Kershaw to turn the corner in the post season for a while. He's baseball Peyton Manning. It will even out eventually. He was pretty good last year and has been decent-ish this year.

He kinda did. Had some dominant games in Indy. And they beat Brady and the Pats, that was a great game for him. I think they didnt punt for two games in the playoffs once.

I know what you mean, he never had a great Super Bowl

5-7 with a 4.57 ERA in the playoffs. I'm not sure they are a shoo-in to win game 5. With Davis unavailable, it certainly is not going to be ideal, but the Cubs have a real chance to take it back to L.A.

I'd be curious to see how much of that was on short rest.

4 of 16 starts but he's come out of the bullpen like 4 times, too.

Was on 5 days rest for Game 6 last year.
