Let’s hope they acquit themselves against these assholes. Of course , I can watch the entire game which means they’ll mail it in and get waxed but here’s hoping . 8pm start . See you gays then.

Is there a little-known CBA clause that says we can call takebacksies on the Hjalmarsson-Murphy trade before November 1st?

The Wingels penalty was a bit ticky-tack, but Ruuta's was just plain dumb.

Oops, Seabs fucks up yet again...

The first two games were an aberration. This team is astonishingly terrible.

I listened to this in the car ride home from the Ads/ Icehogs game. Holy fuck how many penalties? Can they take Seabs on a long one way walk out in the desert after the game?

Hogs looked pretty good tonight. Fortin is legit. Vinny was pretty good. The 8 foot tall swede is awful. Didn't notice pokka even though I know he played. Johnson got his ass kicked in a fight. Gus looked decent. Jurco is more useless here than he was on the Hawks last year. Kampfh ? looked good whoever the hell he is.

Stupid rule disallows Wingels' goal

This league is so fucking predictable. Hawks score a goal, the refs review it, it gets washed out, and then they give up a goal. It never fails.

Take your 2 points and immediately drink until this game is removed from your memory.

yes this team still has some issues, but it should be noted that once again Toews had a fantastic game. From the PK to getting the 2 primary assists on the 1st 2 goals.

Yeah, the first line is rolling, but someone needs to put a bullet in Seabrook's head. I cannot believe how a good player could get this bad this fast. He's dragging down the entire blue line.

Agreed.

Debrincat has that "it" factor. He has made several crafty plays this year that have not resulted in any points but you can see his smarts and vision. I don't see any reason to send to Rockford.

Yeah, I don't think there's anything he'd get out of the AHL at this point. He set the OHL on fire and looks like he belongs here.

UMN mentioned Alexandre Fortin looking really good at Rockford. Any more detail you can go into on that one? I was fascinated by him because he had a great preseason showing last year (I think he was named a first star once) but sort of fell off the radar. I think he had great numbers in the Q, but no one gives a damn about numbers in the Q anymore; nowadays it's lucky to finish fourth in terms of drafted players each year. Do you think he could find a home on our fourth line when Bouma can't justify his presence anymore?
