The best food in the world. Get that 100% beef corndogs, how you doin? Put spicy mustard and ketchup on the paper plate. Rub them tenderly together with your weiner. Oh baby.

We disagree alot on this site but I'm sure we all agree that corn dogs rule.

:salut: 100% agree, HG.

I put the ketchup and mustard side by side on the plate and get the perfect half and half dip for each bite.

Works for me.

Rarely go with ketchup/mustard ... normally just ketchup. Mustard is for a proper hot dog.

Carnival fare don't jive with spicy mustard.

That's more offensive than the ketchup could ever be.

Mustard only.

The Lions Club at my local festival growing up made them fresh and they were awesome.

Corndogs are awesome. To be honest, I don't think I have ever attempted condimenting them, and for some reason, I find it strange that someone would. Like if I was eating a piece of cornbread on its own, I wouldn't put ketchup or mustard on it. Do you bite off the end and then squeeze it in the 1/16" gap around the hot dog? If not, it doesn't make a lot of sense -- it would be like taking a regular hot dog, turning it upside down, and putting ketchup/mustard on the outside of the bun.

A single line of mustard on the outside of the corn dog will cling to it like grim death.

I'm pretty sure Fealz was referring to the location in Winfield, Derbyshire over in the U.K.

Btw, even while corndogs are awesome I have to mention another favorite of mine I haven't had in years. My mom used to get food from the old "market days" once in a while. I don't remember if this was from a school, church or work whatever. Anyway they had these individually wrapped frozen bagel dogs that were the absolute greatest thing for a while.

agree with mustard only. the giant ear of buttered corn and a corn dog are carnival musts.
