If you value your life so lowly as to see it worthy of sacrifice on behalf of an independent Catalan Republic then, seriously, find a better cause. Go volunteer to fight ISIS in Syria. Taking up arms so your region can leave the largest zone of passport free travel in the world, when your region's economy relies almost entirely on tourism, is like overthrowing the government because they aren't wasting enough taxpayer money.

It was a freshman year class. I think it was this book, native son, the Jungke and Ragged Dick which was awful as well. I’m sure my papers were something special.

Oh yeah--those are often classified together. The Jungle is at least interesting for a while. Native Son is one of my all-time favorites, though.
