Anyone have any special plans to scare the shit out of kids who are too old to be trick or treating?

Those kids should be sent to Hub's house to keep count as he does his 900 push ups.

For the second straight year, the village of Lakemoor has warned residents to not let their kids go trick or treating unsupervised, as the naked 30 something year old that accosted children has yet to be caught.

He was caught? Was $52 enough to make bail?

Got invited to a house party where the requirement is you have to come dressed as a scary clown. the goal of the party is to scare the shit out of all the trick or treaters. I guess last year they had some kids run away screaming and crying and this year they are trying to top that. saw some photos on facebook, they went all out decorating the house.

Is the host of the party John Wayne Gacy?

Someone posted that it will be the coldest Halloween in 20 years. Not sure that's true but whatever.

In the comments, someone wrote "Global Warming...LOL"

For some reason, this idiocy (any cold weather any time = global warming is a myth) continues to bother me.

Mike Caplan told me on the news this morning it is the coldest Halloween since 1996.

Here is a picture of he and his wife in Julie DiCaro's backyard:

Agree. Kind of like when we get too many or no hurricanes and it's blamed on global warming.

Yep. Although that is not as obvious.

I mean, I could believe climate change has some sort of effect on that stuff with the right scientific proof.

But to think...its colder than usual so global warming doesnt exist is another level of stupid.

Yeah, I agree with that. Climate change sycophants and deniers are equally funny in how they attribute everything to global warming or deny it due to one-offs, respectively. Like most things, the truth is usually somewhere in between.

Don't ruin my Halloween thread with global warming talk!

What are your favorite Halloween songs? Mine are Night on Bald Mountain and Dance Macabre.

I thought this was a post for scary things. Global warming isn't scary?

But seriously, the best Halloween song is The Muensters Theme song.

Also, the entire Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack. Hot Patootie, Bless my Soul by Meatloaf aka Eddie is awesome.

Grab a kid by the collar of their costume and yank them into your house. Slam the door, lock it and close the blinds.

The mom or dad will come running up and start banging on the door. Wait 10 seconds and then open the door and hand them their kid and say "just kidding, Happy Halloween".

or the theme in Prince of Darkness, a film in which a character says that "our logic breaks down at the sub-atomic level into ghosts and shadows" and another says, "Did anyone ever tell you that you could pass for Asian?"

Awesome flick.
