halloween was way better before forced trick or treat times (mostly daylight hours wtf). it used to be awesome block party type stuff but now its just lame.

and we get areas that are like "trick or treat in our village is 10/29 from 4:30 - 6:30". WAT.

Ours is 3-7. Got in an argument with my other half about this.

She said it was really early (in a tone like wtf)

We always go around 5-630 so it doesnt matter. I pointed this out. She's like "well it's just early and ill try to take an earlier train."

I pointed out we dont HAVE to do all 4 hours.

Wouldnt admit that is was completely meaningless to our situation. Women can be stubborn in some instances.

Daylight savings time was adjusted a few years back. When we were younger, daylight savings time had already happened (I think it was usually mid-October). It was usually near dark once my friends and I would get our start.

And designated hours are stupid. We would be out usually until around 9:00. It's one day out of the year. People who complain about stupid bullshit like this deserve to have their house egged.

Don't fuck with teenagers. They are idiots who have nothing to lose. You fuck with them, and they will TP your house, if you are lucky. Just give them a fun sized Snickers, and they will be on their way.

3:00-7:00 here, which is weird because the elementary schools don't conclude until 3:30.

4-8 in Mundelein. SUV's full of kids (not from our neighborhood) show up and attack from 5-7 and then it's dead. Pretty smart from a effort vs collection standpoint with all the townhouses.

Negative, Speed Racer. We had ours on Saturday. It was great. If Gurnee did it on Halloween, neither of us would be home before trick or treat hours are basically over without having to burn an unnecessary vacation day.

If you’re trick or treating at 18, you probably have bigger problems than old people judging you.

Mine are 17 and 15. They went out with their friends and had a great time. Let kids be kids.

Well i meant like 18 would be too old. So i Should have said 17. As in still not an adult. I agree with you but if that is where they're at...let them be. Some kids at 17 seem 18. Some seem. 14. You're not too far removed from high school to remember that.

I think we had a teenage couple come to our door. I didn't know if that was strange or not.

I wouldn’t tell them they can’t. I just think it’s strange... they should do teenage Halloween things, like visit an abandoned house or visit a cemetery or murder a hobo and bury his body.

But let’s get to the real issue here... how many houses did you trick or treat at last night?
