CHUSE is correct. Throw a piece or two of candy at the older kids. Its a small price to pay for peace of mind as the evening gets later.

what's the age limit on trick or treating? I had some teenage looking kids dressed up trick or treating just now.

Age limit is 18. Don't be a schmuck.

If you’re trick or treating at 18, you probably have bigger problems than old people judging you.

Well i meant like 18 would be too old. So i Should have said 17. As in still not an adult. I agree with you but if that is where they're at...let them be. Some kids at 17 seem 18. Some seem. 14. You're not too far removed from high school to remember that.

I wouldn’t tell them they can’t. I just think it’s strange... they should do teenage Halloween things, like visit an abandoned house or visit a cemetery or murder a hobo and bury his body.

But let’s get to the real issue here... how many houses did you trick or treat at last night?

So here is the deal...trick or treating has never been my bag since I'm not a huge fan of sweets. A 3 Musketeers or Reese's once in a blue moon is solid, but I'd just end up giving most of my candy away to my sisters. As soon as houses start handing out pizza rolls or chips and chili cheese dip, I'm back in.

i never recall trick or treating BEFORE it got dark. it was so much more fun.

Daylight savings time was adjusted a few years back. When we were younger, daylight savings time had already happened (I think it was usually mid-October). It was usually near dark once my friends and I would get our start.

And designated hours are stupid. We would be out usually until around 9:00. It's one day out of the year. People who complain about stupid bullshit like this deserve to have their house egged.

it's 3-7 by me as well
you just know there are gonna be people bitching about kids that come by at 7:01

Last batch of kids came by my house around 7:05. They were probably about 14-15 years old. As they are moving on to the next house, a cop comes down my street, and shines the big light from the cruiser on them and tells them they need to go home.

Such bullshit. I'm starting to side with Ogie.

Bought about 8 large bags of candy and got thru 7 of them.

Kids had an awesome night and so did the adults.

I could not agree more. I've never liked candy, even as a kid. Start handing out some burgers and brats and Halloween would be great.

Especially because it's easier to hide razor blades in a burger than it is pre-packaged candy.
