Book it!

Packers at home, off a bye and playing against a 20+ranked D looked pitiful. Bears D will eat them alive.

They better. If they don't, George might as well fire every coach at Halas Hall who isn't named Vic Fangio.

I have little confidence that the Bears will win, but that's not an endorsement of Green Bay. They look....like the Bears, only with a much worse defense. Bears are actually heading in the right direction, but this game will depend on turnovers and field position. It probably won't take more than 17 points to win this game unless there are defensive/special team scores and short fields for offenses.

Given that their coach is looking every bit of the simpleton many claimed him to be, it's hard to argue.

But he can't rely on a running game this week, so he has to open it up now, or look for a special teams coaching job in the new year. So he should have a shot

Of course they will. It doesn't mean much with Rodgers out. I have my doubts GB will win another game.

Agreed on all points.

I thought Hundley was a rookie but I heard he was in his third year. Apparently he's been sleeping in the QB room.

In the last game you said the Packers dominates in all aspects but it doesn't mean Pace is doing a bad job because the Packers are a top team. Has that changed?)

Go watch that game again. They did dominate the Bears in every aspect of the game pretty much. No, that hasn't miraculously changed. I don't expect the same result this week. When your QB is terrible it negatively impacts the entire team.

So, if the Packers were only good because Rodgers was that good, and the Bears were dominated by the rest of the team, isn't that a reason to say that Pace has done a poor job in acquiring talent?

The whole point was that a team like the Packers shouldn't dominate the Bears at every position like they did.

No, it's not a reason to say Pace is doing a poor job, just like beating the Steelers isn't a reason Pace is doing a good job. You're putting way too much emphasis on one game.

They really didn't.

Total Yards; Bears 308 - 260
TOP; Bears 31:51
1st Downs; Bears 20 - 17
Passing Yards; Bears 205 - 169
Rushing Yards; Bears 103 - 91

The Packers were +4 in the turnover battle and clearly dominated on the scoreboard which is all that really matters, but your statement above is completely incorrect.

It's not incorrect. When the game was competitive the Packers beat the Bears in almost every category. Once the Packers were dominating and on cruise control the Bears managed to slightly outgain them. Congrats!

I'll watch the game. I hope the Packers win. Why would Packer fans be interested in the rest of this season though? It's over for them.

You said the Packers dominated in every aspect of the game. That is not true.

They won, be happy with that. Don't lie and say the Packers dominated on offense or defense because they didn't.

They did. I just explained why. Garbage time yards while down by 3 TDs doesn't change that. Sorry.

You are. You're denying that the Packers completely dominated a game in which they were leading 35-7 and beating the Bears in every offensive category before a 9 minute garbage time drive gave the Bears a slight advantage in stats and a 21 point loss. Just give up. You sound ridiculous right now.

Right. And there are 29 teams playing better, more entertaining football right now.

It's a lost season for GB. Kinda sucks but by now I think we're all resigned to it.

Bears are favorites over the Pack for the first time in 9 years, so you have that going for you guys.

Take the beloved and put the rent money on it. It's free. This might finally be the first good (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky game. GB has zero pass rush and the game script should favor the bears all game long.

but the Bears play to keep games close, win or lose

Pack can put up 14 but I don't think the Bears can put up much more than 21
