is 35 percent of the school freshman alot or is that normal cause it seems pretty high to me.

I think Iowa has always gotten alot of Illinois kids. Close to home, good school, pig raping...

It's fairly high for an out of state school but there are two simple reasons

1. Iowa is easier for an out of state kid to get in than Illinois is for the in state kid.
2. Illinois in state and Iowa Out of State are within several thousand a year cost. Most of the kids come from the CHicago area from Naperville area schools and NW suburbs (Stevenson, Conant, Fremd, etc)
