I'm curious to know how BRogue can say with such confidence that Pat is scared. Has Pat said as much behind his privacy wall? I see his mentions on twitter are still talking about people being "offended", but don't know if those are responses trailing in from his public tweets yesterday.

Juice I’m just trying to use my admittedly limited intelligence to muddle through these murky Twitter waters to get to the truth and bring it to the board . A barrel chested 6”2 260 badass like Pat doesn’t go private without good reason . He’s running and running scared but if there’s one I’ve leaned in my time on this big blue marble it’s that theres nothing more dangerous than a scared, cornered animal . I’ll keep you guys posted .

Would you feel that way if a government official in a different role was as openly hateful of white people as Pat is? Cop, DA, Judge, court clerk?

I've said from the beginning, all joking aside about his lies and creeping on black women on social media, I think it likely there is a positive, non-zero, whole integer probability that he factors the race of parents/guardians into his work.

I think it would be highly likely that one of his co-workers got tired of his ugly ass and turned him in. That would also shield the whistleblower a little bit if there should be layoffs down the road.

You know how many firefighters I know who use the N-word constantly but still risk serious injury in fighting fires for mostly blacks? (Well, three, but I think that's all the firemen I know well.) My point? It doesn't affect his job.

Cause and effect, definitely. I'm actually surprised how immature he is, but when you're blinded by an ideology (who isn't?), everything is permissible, even idiotic insults typically used by sixth-graders who are just beginning to understand the types of discharge their bodies are producing. I think QCP's real crime, besides freely sharing that punchable goddamn face, is the quality of insults he dishes out.

I am sure people have tried to talk to him. Twitter is such a bad place to do it, though. But a real conversation is the way to do it, if there even is a way.

The gravity of all this is setting in. Gonna be dark times if I can't laugh at this schmucks' bullshit regularly. I get the huge threads about him and JDC, but why take it a step further and chase them off?

@QuadCityPat Patrick uses Twitter to educate and inform people about child abuse and neglect, and I have benefited from reading his tweets. He communicates his expertise in the vernacular of social media, where profanity is routinely used to express intense feelings. I'm glad he's here.

Except a court clerk has more of an ability to arbitrarily impact your life than a firefighter.

What's more, they aren't tasked by the government to investigate and report on people's lives to the extent that such reports will impact custody of children and, perhaps, other criminal prosecution.

This is an honest question because I don't know: Would Pat's testimony in court be given extra weight because of his profession? Are his words in court inherently treated as more worthy than those of a parent or guardian, at least as it pertains to a narrow issue?

Ostensibly, he's not getting popped for saying "fuck" a bunch of times. He's in trouble because he seems like a bona fide racist in a governmental position of some power.
