Should have been the head coach after Lovie launching, Pace has a chance to get him now. He's done with Zona in a week. Make it happen.

Bears don't need to hand out another retirement contract like with Fox.

I like him but I kinda prefer a younger ex quarterback with some NFL coaching experience.

HARBAUGH.

Don't let any of the bullshit fool you - he would be the Best Bears Coach Ever.

There really is no other choice - he was born for the job.

The Bears need to fire Pace before hiring the next coach. Additionally, it would be helpful if the McCaskeys would sell the team in the next week or so.

Arians is about ready to drop dead - literally. Smart move getting out.

That's why, despite the consensus view that he's launched on Monday, I think there is still a chance that Fox gets brought back for his last year. I think Pace would like to fire Fox and hire his own coach to extend his shelf-life, but perhaps the brain trust at Halas Hall will tell him he has one more year--with Fox--to turn it around significantly (i.e., make the playoffs).

Just bring someone in who yells on the sidelines and gets red-faced and we'll be fine.

Arians would be a huge upgrade over Fox. He knows it's not illegal to throw the ball down the field.

He did pretty good with a lousy old QB in the toughest division in football in his 5 years there.

John Fox is younger than Bruce Arians.

I was surprised by that fact. So yes, this would be a retirement contract.

I wouldn't be surprised if (Big IF) they win this week, they decide to keep Fox for next year.

I kind of hope this happens just to see the amusing (to me) reaction from the media.

There is no way in hell Arians would consider working under Teddy. That press conference bullshit is about as insulting as it gets. I could see him showing up for the interview, dropping his pants, dropping his dick on Ted's table and then leaving....but thats about it.
