How was Disney, Hank?
It was great. Weather cooperated perfectly, no travel delays, kids all had a great time. Except for the price tag, it was the perfect family trip.
I just love how easy Disney makes everything. I realize they do it to trap you in their web and keep you spending on their property...but its so convenient. You check your bags in Chicago and they go directly to your hotel room. When you leave, they print out your boarding passes and hang them on your doorknob and you check your luggage at the hotel and never deal with it again until you're back in Chicago again. The little things that the workers do are huge as well. The girls did the Bibbidy Boppity Boutique and one of them dressed as Jasmine. She went to get a bag of cotton candy later in the day and the worker told her that Aladdin had sent it to her from Agrabah and didn't charge us for it. That's like $0.10 of cotton candy but it made her day and she didn't stop talking about it all day.

In another case, I saw a kid eating one of those Mickey ice cream bars and as he took the first bite, he dropped it right in the gutter and started crying. Some random worker went over to the cart and grabbed him another one and gave it to him. The switch from tears to happiness was amazing. My biggest complaint was the amount of people in motorized scooters. Strollers and wheelchairs are one thing, those are still being pushed by a human and have some semblance of control. These scooter assholes just fly around at full speed like they own the place.

If you hate Laurence, then don't listen - don't comment. When he co-hosts the B&B show, take that day off ... listen to an old podcast of a Bernstein solo show and jerk off all day.
