I was wondering what Brock Huard was up to. Well, not really but once I saw his name it made me think of other former Oklahoma QBs.

I like Darnold. I don't care about the turnovers tonight. He does enough things right as far as footwork and vision and progression reading that I would take him 1st overall. You can fix ball security issues....you can't teach field vision. I think he can be Stafford.

Seeing USC fans swearing they'd be back in this game if not for the refs. I think your golden boy quarterback's turnovers have had a fair bit more to do with your current predicament than the refs.

Darnold has made more NFL throws in this loss tonight than any other qb has made all season. I love him. He has it.

He made some tough throws against a good secondary. Blitzes just killed him. He looks like he has a quick release, too....but you can't throw it when everyone is covered I guess.

I thought a number of his completions last night were better receptions than they were throws. And I think he's likely to fare no better than most USC quarterbacks have in the pros, though he may as well jump now and avoid Matt Barkleying himself.
