Same. Bad look.

You know the old phrase "lead follow or get out of the way" ?? Most ppl are hellbent on power so they get caught up on lead/follow but the key is to focus on "get the fuck out of the way"

Dan got a drop in when Biggs asked Nagy what restaurant they went to after the interview. Nagy responded, "Stockhill...have you been there?" Dan quipped, "of course he has..."

For one's later listening pleasure, Boers & Bernstein - Bears Postseason Press Conference 1/5/10.

Bonus listening: Boers & Bernstein - Phil Emery Introductory Press Conference (commentary).

Does it shock anybody that Brad Biggs thought that the actual restaurant that they went to was significant?

Who the hell cares? Oh yeah, Brad Biggs cares.

There's no way the 'I named my daughter Halas' call is real.

I agree with Don Tiny that they need to bring the drops back.

I don't understand why when they got rid of Boers they decided to get rid of a lot of the things that were funny on the show. It's not because of Goff because he was there for a lot of it.

They killed the drops well before Terry was gone. I'm guessing that directive came from upper CBS brass.

Yeah it was when they got new CBS management. Also stopped the hello game around this time.

I have to admit I found the drops annoying when it was something I was interested in like the White Sox, but I would never even consider listening to this Bears presser without them.

Goff mocking the “wear black” movement. Dan went silent. Be better, Jason.

I miss the "Dumb ass cracker" drop. Except for the times when Goff would over do it like hitting it 50 times during a Brett Favre press conference. Though Goff denies that he ever hit that button. He says it was always Bernstein.

they still do drops for pressers, just not live ones. They'll do drops over replays.

Yeah. But not the racist and homophobic drops. Not since Bernstein evolved. Which meant that Goff had to evolve.

What time is Nagy going to be on with B&G? I would like to hear Dan ask the questions he insists the rest of the media is too soft to ask.

Jason played a lot of drops, but Dan had a cart or two as well.

I know. But Goff's claim that he never played "Dumb ass cracker" was a lie. He felt he had to lie after the SCORE decided to "Evolve". And he was embarrassed by it since he has now become a civil rights leader. Goff used to be very homophobic. He still is as he lets that out every now and then.

I thought Nagy did an excellent job swatting away the PR-type crap that Dan seems obsessed with peddling. He gave fairly straightforward and sober answers, and comported himself fairly well.

Doesn't necessarily mean shit to a tree when the game starts, but I like this fella a little more than yesterday and am most curious to see how this all goes.

I think a lot of people on here who don't like Goff would like him more if they actually had a beer with him. Look at his twitter periscopes from last nights game. Guy having fun with his friends with a bama fan. Fun Goff. Now from a radio perspective i still think sometimes he rushes and sounds out of breath, but that can be improved on.

What I think turned off a lot of listeners is how serious and political they made a show that used to be fun, not fun anymore. Also I agree a lot with Dan and Jason's politics, I am in the middle, but really don't care(they are sports commentators) and not why I chose to listen.

For those who say everyone has an opinion I agree. But say I am a doctor, no one comes to me looking for my politics. I tune in to them for sports. Again in sports shows your always going to have politics a little, but the grandstanding and lectures have just gotten out of control the last few years.

So here is hoping for fun Dan and Jason for 2018.

Since the last ratings came out there has been very little national NBA talk. I would say it's because the Bears stuff but they were doing it all season up to this.

I agree. Goff tried baiting him at the end with "Do you win BECAUSE OF (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky or win WITH (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky?"

Dumb question because the answer is both. You also win BECAUSE OF and WITH guys like Fuller, Hicks, Jordan Howard, good WRs, etc.

Agreed...he refused to guarantee playoffs this year, and when asked by Dan whether the words "Super Bowl" were brought up at any time in the interview, he gave an emphatic No. Dan seemed genuinely offended and then asked "Why Not?" Nagy stated that it's a given. :D

I'm sick of Goff always giving the same speech....

"I'm tired of the Bears losing. I'm a Bears fan. I want to see them win."

No shit, Jason. Same with, ya know, everybody.
