It's been almost four years since my Dad's cancer progressed to that point, T-Bone. We did all the stuff they had and a couple of experimental things, too. In the end, he wished we had not. Do what your Dad wants, not what some doctor wants. Get ready, ask him now how he wants things to go. Tell him now you love him. It doesn't get easier, but you will be better off with his help now, and he gets to make his own decisions how some of it will work out. Best of luck to you and your family.

You go for some time not seeing him and forgetting how bad it is, but good God almighty is Anakin an annoying, whiny bitch.

My car was hit by the snow removal crew while parked at work. Dented the right rear fender and punched a slot clean into the trunk. A replacement quarter panel is likely more than the 99 Civic is worth. Drivable, but needs to be fixed or the trunk becomes a swamp.

The Office is on all day. Breaking Bad is on starting at 10am. Then football.

Looks like those outside Christmas decorations aren't coming down today either.

The Nigerian Prince e-mail scam has now morphed into a hit man death threats scam. My dad got one last night. I don't think he was too concerned but it's a little off putting when someone sends you an email saying they have been hired to kill you.

Thanks TM and all others sending thoughts. Heading down tomorrow for 5 day visit with my wife. We hope it's not the last visit but are planning on it just in case. I'd like him to make his 68th birthday in late February. Anyway, not looking for pity or comments to this. Wanted to thank all you weirdos for being a dysfunctional support system during tough times. Carry on in the Complain About thread with more trivial and mundane stuff... This place is great to take your mind off stuff

The tendons in a couple of my fingers seem to be tightening/shortening, forcing my hand into a permanent "claw".

I messed up the tendon sleeve or something like that in my one pinky finger. Does not hurt but is weird.

Obviously get that checked out. My mom had something that started like that at they found it was scleroderma, which sucks.
