He was solid in Groundhog Day.

If we are counting the movies where he is not the lead he was great in Something About Mary.

I think he is a very fun guy but I can see why it hasn't translated into huge commercial success. His style is fatiguing.

Yeah, Elliott's best work were side roles from Groundhog Day and There's Something about Mary.

Chris Elliott is a national treasure. His only true leading role film was funny and his bit parts in others are all solid.

I believe I read that when Bill Murray was offered the role of Ernie McCracken, he was notorious for not getting back to people. They lined up Chris Elliott and said ‘the job is yours UNLESS Murray gets back to us and accepts.’ One day Bill showed up and Chris was out. That’s why he has the random bit role as the bartender in Reno.

This all started with Frank's unnecessary attack on Chris Elliot. Elliot is actually very underrated. Between this and BRICK handing it to him, he is going to need some Vaseline tonight. Just a rough, rough, day for Frank on this board.

I've got a sick kid at home and his only request was if I could bring home some waffles. So I say OK, and then go to the Jewels... buy waffles and a handful of other things, and then 20 minutes to check out. It was busier than the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Lines were twelve people deep. I did not go to the bread aisle, so I'm not sure if that got cleaned out or not.

I was blissfully unaware of the impending snowmaggedon when I went to the local Jewels. Little old ladies were jabbering about it and I decided to grab charcoal, a big roast, miscellaneous crap for the bottomless stomach that is my teen son. And a bottle of tequila.
