I’m not taking shots. On the contrary, I applaud their business acumen. A large corporation that is going to continue to profit of gun and ammo sales just successfully duped you, Ugie, and IMU into publicly lauding their civic responsibility. Dick Cheney is probably smiling somewhere at their effort.

Sales(reasonable gun sales) that again, most people don't have issue with. Certainly not me. Your "bit" here is a bit stale.

So you don’t have a problem with people being murdered by guns as long it’s not a super scary looking gun? Very reasonable opinion!

I also like:

private business refuses gay customers = Public accommodation! You cannot refuse service based on orientation because you are a public accommodation!

private business refuses age of majority customers = Private business! They are a private business. Private. Business.

why are you arguing imaginary fights?

OP used Dick's as a shoutout for ceasing to sell certain weapons and accessories to all customers.

Good thing I wasn't responding to OP, then. I responded to a post specifically bringing up the age requirement. Not at all imaginary.

Sad to see Wal-Mart jumped on the publicity bandwagon too. They weren't getting outplayed. As it is they're probably killing dicks business anyhow like millions of other businesses.

It may be a black thing. If people are dressed well around me I don't feel like I need to stay on high alert. As I have gotten older and have gotten more to lose I prefer to be around people like that when drinking a lot.

I honestly don't know anyone who buys their firearms from big box retailers. That's the type of purchase where I want to go through a gunsmith. I'd buy bulk ammo from a place like that or Cabela's though.

I can throw on a collared shirt if it’ll get you out to Real Time Sports more than once a year.

I've come north a lot. I have no issue with it. I'll head that way at least a couple of times this year. I need you guys to head a little south too.

So doing away with due process is "showing some sense"? Pol Pot must have been the most sensible leader ever if that's the standard.

Quote:
Mr. Trump suggested that law enforcement authorities should have the power to seize guns from mentally ill people or others who could present a danger without first going to court.
This actually shows sense. Trump is not advocating rounding up everybody's guns and melting them down.

And who sets the standard for who is mentally ill or could present a danger without first going to the courts? Dangerous precedent to be setting.

Not yet. Buying at Wal-Mart is a little silly. Typically all they have in my favorite caliber is Winchester white box, runs a little dirty for my taste.
