Im thinking about buying a car. I've been using bike and bus for the last 3-4 years.

I don't want to go to the used car dealership because I know they'll rip me off and the car will break down.

I've asked around and people have suggested buying a car from a rental car place.

Has anyone done this?

My budget is the cheapest I can get a car for. I will just use it for semi - weekly long drives. And it would also be nice just to have a car around going to work instead of buying a gun.

Wait a few months to buy used. EVERYTHING is marked up.

Find a garage kept low mileage car from a senior citizen. It may be 20 years old or older but chances are it's been very well maintained.
