Hopefully you guys do better on this one.

Hint: it’s Won’t Get Fooled Again. Love Reign O’er Me is an extremely close second. It’s actually probably the best. I dunno. You guys figure it out.

Cross Eyed Mary has been stuck in my head for about three months now and it beats any Who song.

Best song: "We're Not Gonna Take It/See Me, Feel Me"

I wish they had a better producer.

Some of my favorite of the old Who songs are "Mary Anne with the Shaky Hand," the aforementioned "Boris the Spider," and the disturbing "I'm a Boy"

That’s a great choice but you’re a Who hater so you’re disqualified.

Eminence Front is tremendous...it just sucks that every time I hear it now, I think of the GMC commercial.

Countering with "pick up the dog doo, hope that it's hard"... if you have a dog you would appreciate this wisdom.

Early Who:

My Generation
I Can See For Miles
Pictures Of Lily
Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere

Middle Who:

Live At Leeds: Young Man Blues, My Generation, Magic Bus

Who's Next: Baba O, WGFA...the rest is also great.

Quadrophenia: The Real Me, Drowned, LROM...great everything else

Later Who(with Moon):

Who Are You
Squeeze Box

Honorable Mention:

Pure and Easy
Naked Eye
Pinball Wizard
Long Live Rock
The Seeker

After Keith died, the only very good to great stuff was on Pete solo albums.

I like the drums in "Substitute." Great pop song. Favorite is probably "I'm One" off of Quadrophenia.

You are correct on the best song. That other one, though, you can keep. Perhaps the best drummer to play as though they were a real instrument rather than atonal percussion. Didn't have the chops of the masters Peart, Copeland, or Picaro to be sure, but it was his interpretation of how it should sound that was often a real treat.
