Yes you heard it right. I just watched it on MLB Network. 30 teams in 30 days show. Wish I had the video link.

I watched the show and man they really loved the Wsox young kids. One pitcher throws 105 mph on average. Made even me a Cubs fan excited about the WSox future.

Yeah that isn't happening. Maybe 2 years away from competing.

This is probably the White Sox version of Cubs' 2014. One more bad year...but I think the White Sox turn some heads in 2019.

The Sox are not going to be "bad" this year. Roughly 80 wins is where they should be at, which is not "bad" by any stretch.

I agree with Millar

I was going to do a "Which team will be in the playoffs a year early?" thread

Phillies, White Sox, or Braves

I'll repeat this at it is a better sobering agent than the I V scam currently patronizing the Score:

James Shields will start opening day for the Sox.

This is a prove it year for the young players on the White Sox. Will they be Bryant or F.Pie? No one has proven they can be an all-star yet. Lucky if they get 75wins this year. They need a solid 1/2/3 in their rotation before you can start talking playoffs.

Agreed. 75 to 80 wins is prob right. If things fall perfect 85 wins

We are entering another one of those Yankee golden eras where they are detested by the league for a decade. I have very little hope the Sox can be anything but competitive with them.

As much as we joke about it, a portion of Cub resurgence has been due to the rest of their division's deterioration. The Sox will have some of that with Detroit and the Royals but the Indians look pretty strong going into the future.

RFDC why did you leave NAS's fantasy baseball league? Now your players are all over the Waiver Wire waiting for SINI to pounce on them and regain his title. :(

Not sure Cleveland has a ton of time left. Would say their window is closed after next season.

If the sox young stud pitchers figure it out this season, I can see them doing a 1969 Mets run.

If Moncada hits his ceiling they can be good. If Eloy does too they'll be really good.

Neither of those guys pitch. They need their young pitchers to be good. If pitchers and Moncada and Eloy are good then you got something.

White Sox Prospect Michael Kopech Throws 110-MPH Fastball

I really want to see this guy pitch if he's averaging 105mph as Millar said on the show last night.

I also agree with your point that James Fucking Shields is the opening day starter....woof.

Agreed except for the Indians. 2 years in a row they've missed. That window will close sooner rather than later.
