Shorter than I expected on the years. Robinson will hit FA again at age 27, and hopefully he'll command a ton of money. Took about the same annual as Jeffery.

This was almost obligatory. They needed to sign Robinson. Still they should be lauded for understanding that and locking in on him right away. This may have been done a while now.

They can take Nelson at 8 now without complaints from me.

Also Robinson didn't like Bortles. QB factored into his decision. (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is a hot league item.

The Packers just paid Davante Adams, even with cutting Nelson or Cobb they were never going to sink money into big time FA wide receiver...especially with Rodgers chirping for more money.

My guess is the Packers floated interest to drive up the price on the Bears.

QB did not factor into the decision. Money and opportunity to be the #1 and then sign a HUGE contract in 3yrs factored into his decision. If anything, (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky would be a negative point for a WR looking for big numbers.
