They had to get him or the front office should be fired.

3 yrs/$84 MM seems completely detached from reality. Especially for a guy who never has starred in many big moments.

But it's good news for Bear fans imo.

I guess Arizona has to step up to go get Nick Foles now. Strange days.

I think committing the kind of money it takes to get Cousins is pretty dumb for a team like the Vikings. But then I don't think Cousins is very good at all and believe most of his stats are pretty empty.

Rumor and innuendo is that he's going to get a fully-guaranteed contract.

I liked how Cian Fahey put it: You can win a Super Bowl with Nick Foles so you can win one with Kirk Cousins but the Vikings are making that goal harder rather than easier with this move.

Bingo! It would've made more sense to stick with Keenum and Bridgewater and spread the money to upgrade other areas.

Looks like Mike Zimmer brought a bit of Cincinnati stupid with him.

Keenum and Bridgewater are going to cost more than Cousins. If you think he is better than both of them, then they made the right decision.

Not in terms of guaranteed money. And merely thinking Cousins is better doesn't mean he's worth that much more than one or both of them.

Maybe not guaranteed money, but at least for this season, Cousins will be cheaper than trying to sign both of those guys.

Bradford to Cardinals. They better sign someone else because they know he won't play 16.

Surprised by the Nelson move. I figured they would restructure his deal or something. SOme rumors that they may cut Cobb as well.

1 year incentive laden deal? I thought he was better than that but still like it.

I wish I were talented enough to be a horrible NFL QB. I could make more money in two years than I could make in multiple lifetimes as a "regular" person.

Jets and Colts make a big trade. Jets get the 3rd pick overall. Colts get No. 6 overall pick, 37th overall pick, 49th overall pick in 2018 and a 2019 second-round pick.

Could Howard and 2 first round picks get you the Cleveland pick?

Could Howard alone bring the Bears to 4?

If CLE, NYG and NYJ all go QB that could be an attractive move for both teams. I still think it leaves the Bears vulnerable on the offensive line though. Don't disagree with cutting Sitton, but they need to replace him and Nelson would be perfect.

No trading up, we're in a great spot to grab Fitzpatrick or Nelson.

Barkley or Nelson? Like others I don't think the Nagy wants Howard. If that's the case I want the best RB in the draft.

The only real issue I have is they would be in a bind filling out the offensive line.

I agree but I think you can find solid players in later rounds. Besides we haven't exactly had great luck drafting linemen early.

Rams sign Suh to a 1 year deal. That team is the favorite to win the NFC.
