I think committing the kind of money it takes to get Cousins is pretty dumb for a team like the Vikings. But then I don't think Cousins is very good at all and believe most of his stats are pretty empty.

Rumor and innuendo is that he's going to get a fully-guaranteed contract.

Keenum and Bridgewater are going to cost more than Cousins. If you think he is better than both of them, then they made the right decision.

Not in terms of guaranteed money. And merely thinking Cousins is better doesn't mean he's worth that much more than one or both of them.

Maybe not guaranteed money, but at least for this season, Cousins will be cheaper than trying to sign both of those guys.

Could Howard alone bring the Bears to 4?

If CLE, NYG and NYJ all go QB that could be an attractive move for both teams. I still think it leaves the Bears vulnerable on the offensive line though. Don't disagree with cutting Sitton, but they need to replace him and Nelson would be perfect.

No trading up, we're in a great spot to grab Fitzpatrick or Nelson.

The only real issue I have is they would be in a bind filling out the offensive line.

I agree but I think you can find solid players in later rounds. Besides we haven't exactly had great luck drafting linemen early.
