ESPN and most syndicated shows go for 3 hours. LeBatard was under contract in Miami to do 4 before he got the ESPN gig, so they do one local hour and three network hours.

I think one of the problems Dan B. has had is that he's needed to fill 5 hours of airtime every day, so he gets himself into trouble.

Going 9-12, 12-3, 3-6/6:30, and then either 6-10/10-12 or skipping LoHo with the game was too obvious. But that would have forced them to keep Speigs, and probably keep Goff.

But I cant' see Mac doing 5 hour shows, so maybe in a year they'll change the timings around.
