They needed a kicker, but when your first FA moves are for a blocking TE and a kicker, it doesn't exactly move the meters.

Their first signing was arguably the best player available in free agency. Didn't feel like Brees was ever leaving.

I think I would have stuck with Santos. Obviously they need to bring in more than one kicker to camp.
