My dad wanted to go, so I am going... hit me up if you are going to be there. I'll try to get a pic with Robin Baumgarten.

Robin is a heck of a success story. Working her way from Johnny B's traffic wench to a long-time anchor position, while not looking like Cheryl Scott.

I tell people that the WGN Morning News is an excellent example of how to give talent structured chances to either succeed or gracefully fuck up in a way which causes minimal pain. They could have Morgan the meteorologist take a shift of news-reading on Memorial Day to see if she's good at it, and nobody would bat an eye. With that many people over 6 hours, somebody is always having a day off or is on assignment, and there's always a way of giving people more responsibility.

As a single man in my youth she was my Quasi-celebrity that I think I could probably hook up with.

She seems down to get down to a certain extent.

Plus Queen of Peace girls are Easy.

Well, that was interesting. Kind of like a half day off for the news people as they don't do any news, they just throw it back to the studio when it is news time. A random collection of magicians, tumblers, Medieval Times swordsmans, ponies, the monkey from The Hangover 2, south side Irish parade queen, musicians, etc. If you haven't been there, the place is huge (50k sq feet) so they have multiple stages and things getting setup on each one. This sets a personal record for the earliest time I ever ordered a bucket of beers (6:26 AM) -- was interesting, I would do it again if others wanted to do it, but I wouldn't personally push to do it again.

Did you see Jamie Kennedy?

My girlfriend's alcoholic sister was there and she got a pic with him.

Yeah, they interviewed him around 7 AM. He seemed lucid.
