Bilas was discussing how this is not an exceptional tournament for upsets. The first two sentences out of his mouth featured two exceptionally unique upset circumstances of the first weekend (UMBC and top four seeds ousted from the west).

Bilas used to be the best analyst around about college basketball but he's gotten lazy and bad. I don't know if it was personal friendships with coaches or just flat out laziness once he was the voice of college basketball but nearly all of his points are either painfully obvious or able to be picked apart by any college basketball fan. His defense of Sean Miller may be the end of him as a respectable college basketball voice.

Bernstein, while intelligent, is such a know-it-all that he just has to be right about everything. I happened to catch a bit in the car yesterday, and McKnight made a comment about not liking Milky Way candy bars because there is no texture in the middle, and Dan responded that Connor must have been thinking of Three Musketeers. Yes, Dan, we all know Three Muskeeters is lighter/airier than most...but the way he insisted that McDoink could not possibly have been referring to Milky Way was typical.

again, to compare the Bernstein era to the golden era of the Score, Monsters had a Harvard graduate and lawyer sitting there in the booth in Jiggets. He could get deeply thoughtful and philosophical on subjects and was obviously pretty intelligent. Everyone loved Jiggetts

Just rename this show "Dan Benrstein Reads Deadspin" and be done with it. Yesterday there were sequential segments that followed the Deadspin feed, and after NBA Playoffs discussion, Bernstein is reading another Deadspin piece about Gabe Kapler's diet.

Bernstein was cunting on the air for about 10 minutes today because a bunch of guys that play in some washed up league, Jackson, Metta Peach and Amare keep cancelling on the show. lol bad times.
