we have people we know who let their 7 year old child (adopted out of foster care...crack baby and sexually abused) identify as a girl. and ultimately its for their own agenda. they love it. its like they one upped EVERYONE of their friends. its a constant point of conversation. this kid is going to be fked up beyond belief now more than he already was going to be just so you can feel like you've earned a voice. He looks completely ridiculous, he picked the name RAVEN and they've already pulled him out of school for being picked on. I feel greatly for the kid because he's a good tenderhearted kid.

I told them i'd accomodate what they wanted but that i thought it was really stupid, petty and now YOU are also responsible for the hell this kid will go through. aaaaand now we are just aquaintences. they were my wifes friends anyways.
