The legislative and executive branches for passing this huge bloated bill that almost no one read. In addition to the typical waste, the Senate increased its officers and employees salaries by $12.6 million and its own budget by $48 million.

$15 million to study "High obesity counties" as if we don't know why fat fucks are fat fucks.

No one gets off on this one - Trump, McConnell, Ryan, Schumer, Pelosi. All complicit with this bullshit.

Fiscal conservatism is dead.

It was the same way during W's first term. Republicans only want spending under control when they are not in power.

Iirc the Alaskan "Bridge to nowhere" was in his second term. And brought us Sarah Palin.

But the largesse for Senate staff & operation is just the rotten cherry on top of what is likely to be a shit sundae.

And I won't even mention the idiocy of the military budget.

Obviously, we are going to have RR's unbiased input and I would not want to ready anything different. That said, there really should be no objection in any post whatever in this thread that both sides pander and waste money beyond our imaginations.

Maybe I will have faith this post will be the outlier and we will have harmony on this matter. I doubt it and we will just get "yeah, your side is worse".

Yes both sides definitely pander but one side has shouted fiscal responsibility for year and they've just created an $800 billion annual deficit. It's like all democrats trying to save all unborn babies.

I thought it was simple and quite clear. Both parties waste money and are full of it.

Did both parties sweep into power of both houses of Congress and Presidential office by running on a platform of wasting money?

All you've ever seen me post about federal spending really is that military spending is ridiculously out of proportion and that wasteful crap (wherever found) should be exposed, it's proponents publicly shamed and the crooked actors prosecuted.

And that I think supply side economics is just what Bush I called it before he started pandering

Also Dr. Mario called out Pelosi and Schumer in the original post.

there is a difference between wanting dollars to be efficiently spent versus spent on tanks or planes we do not need.

If you want to be on bad terms with Russia there is no such thing as tanks or planes you do not need.

lmao if you think Russia is a pozzed wasteland like the United States. That kind of shit only works on the weakest of the weak.

Not saying Russia is a nice place, communism takes its toll, but they have endured enough to be above the kind of blatant laughable propaganda that so easily fools millions of Americans.
