Well over 1 million people marching for lives. Folks complained when people were marching for black lives and now folks are complaining when people are marching for all lives. This pretty much proves people just love to complain and nitpick. It's so disingenuous to tell these kids what they should or shouldn't do when you wouldn't support them anyway. These kids may not have a perfect solution but I love what I'm seeing.

I'm not hearing much complaining. I post on a couple firearms forums. Some people are choosing to send money to nra but that about the extent of the whining I've heard.

Saw a picture on reddit of a marcher today, and in the background I saw the image below.

This guy wants the government to come for your weapons, and there are MANY more of him. It's disingenuous to pretend that we aren't at all close to weapon seizures on a massive scale.

Also, the above was part of a larger picture of someone holding up this sign:

Pretty good meme and artwork, but it's core premise is faulty. We have a lot of gun control in this country, one where the founding document says specifically that the right to own firearms shall not be infringed.

Well, you see, things have only changed around the Second, for some reason. So the Second is bad and should go away because it's old (same with the Tenth, right Reader?), but the First and Fourth and Fifth, those are all still good....because.

What about the Sixth Amendment. Guarantees a right to a jury trial in all criminal prosecutions, millions of people have this right violated each month. Why are you not outraged about this?

Things have changed for all rights dipshit.

Of course it does. The easy thing to do is to be against things. You can always find something wrong with everything. It's hard to be for something like these kids are and be willing to fight for it.

There is no right, NO RIGHT, to a jury trial for any offense that will not be punishable by more than six months in jail. So anyone, and everyone charged with one of these crimes can demand a jury trial under the sixth amendment which guarantees the right to a jury trial in ALL criminal proceedings, and properly be denied the right to a jury trial. It goes without saying that the vast majority of criminal cases fall into this category.

Sorry shitbird, this is the difference between being a real legal expert, and a know it all dipshit like yourself.

I'm all for the second amendment. I love guns. They are really fun to shoot. Its a hell of an emotion firing off a semi-automatic weapon at a gun range. That said, no ordinary citizen needs any type of weapon that is semi-automatic in nature. I say take away what doesn't make sense. If you want to keep an AR-15 in your house, that's great, but you don't need bullets for it and if you want to shoot it, you should be able to go a licensed range that will sell you the bullets and only allow them to be shot on site at the range.

This little Marxists aren't going to stop at the AR15. They will strip away all arms and then its a one way trip to the boxcar.

People like Hogg and Gonzalez are little treasonous shis that should be swinging from a light pole. (Not a threat so dont hand over my IP)

Any pistol other than a revolver is semi automatic in nature. Do you really mean that or are you referring to semi auto rifles only?

Tell you what. Go ahead and go find actual evidence of me being racist, and if we agree that it was the genuine article, I'll leave the board. But if you can't, or you won't, then you have to completely shut down this entire line of shitposting you have created about me being racist.

Before we start taking away at the core principals of our country how about enforcing the laws on the books we have?
How come when during Obamas presidency we did not see this? He had a few mass school shooting under his term as well as you know the whole Fast and Furious scandal, yet no one was demonstrating for his ass to do something. Yet now he is out t here playing the wise ex president. What gun laws, not bs ex orders did he get passed in his 8 years? Zero.
You live in a very violent area, one with some of the supposedly strictest gun laws in the country. Yet there are already 470 shot and 110 killed this year and we are not even 1/3 done. Hell there was 112 shot/28 killed this month alone. You know what the major problem? Even if the police catch the shooter, hard enough with the no snitch bullshit, you have Kim Fox letting them plead off the felon in possession of a weapon charge, that is supposed to get you 25 years in prison. So you got shooters who if caught are right back out on the streets. Wantto cut down on gun violence it is easy put the guys who get caught with guns who are not supposed to be having them or are selling them to others illegally hard time.

Do you know understand, after I educated your ass with real knowledge, that the right to a jury trial, as guaranteed by the Sixth Amendment is violated more times in our modern criminal justice system than it is respected?

I guess I am asking, you understand the concept of facts?

Ready to talk about how many times the right to an attorney, as guaranteed by the Sixth Amendment is violated?

Here is a hint, it is millions of times a month shit bird.

Semi auto shotguns are weapons of choice for waterfowl hunting too. Maybe upland too although where I hunt it’s mostly o/u.
